Welcome to the Canary Creek Community Website
More than a destination, Canary Creek is a community of 102 lovely homes nestled neatly inside the Northwest edge of the City of Lewes, Delaware. It is a warm, vibrant refuge full of new friends and helpful neighbors. This website is intended to serve as a comprehensive resource that will provide news and information to all members of the Community whether full or part time residents.
Current Events

Friendly Reminders
A few reminders to help keep Canary Creek the best that it can be and enjoyed ... by everyone.
- Please curb your dogs;  your dogs / your visitors dogs should only relieve themselves on your lawn, not your neighbors.  For the common areas, "if they poop, you scoop".
- Per City of Lewes Code: Trash containers should be placed along the curb in front of a homeowner’s property not sooner than 12:00 noon before the day of collection. Containers should be removed within 24 hours after containers have been emptied.  Please place your containers in front of your home only, not your neighbor
- If you plan to rent your unit, you must register your tenant information with SeaScape property management.  Please contact Jonathan Poole at  *Unit rentals are a minimum of 30 days and can not be rented to groups, outside of a family.
- Planning on making outside alterations?  Please speak with the Architectural Committee first:
  • Architectural Board Requires Applications for: • Deck/Porch/Patio addition • Trash Enclosure • Outdoor Shower • Front Door Color • Storm Door • Altering the front yard plant bed
  • Written permission from each neighbor whose property will be needed to access the project by filling out the Canary Creek HOA Permission to Access Neighbor/HOA Property form.
  • Use the link to the left for more information
